Liquid Penetrant Inspection

We offer both visible dye and fluorescent penetrant inspections. Penetrant inspections are great for surface breaking defects, such as cracks, porosity, laps, seams, and other discontinuities on the surface of a part. Penetrant can also be used on a variety of material classes such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ceramics, and polymers.

Liquid Penetrant Inspection is widely used on aircraft and aircraft components, castings, forgings, welded materials and structures, structural beams, and a variety of industries including power generation, petrochemical and oil and gas.

We have capabilities to perform both mobile (on-site inspections) and in-house at our inspection laboratory.  We do our best to meet your schedules and turn around times, and our professional technicians perform all inspections with the latest codes, specifications and or customer specifications.

Magnetic Particle Inspection

Magnetic Particle Inspection is great for inspecting materials for surface and near-surface breaking defects on ferromagnetic materials (commonly iron and steel). It’s application is very fast and simple, with immediate indication of defects and discontinuities.
Magnetic Particle involves inducing a magnetic field into a component being tested creating a magnetic flux around the component, and if any discontinuities or defects (such as cracks) exists, the magnetic flux will be disturbed creating a “flux leakage” around the flaw. With the application of fine magnetic particles (in wet suspension or dry powder form) the particles will be attracted to the “flux leakage”, creating a visible indication of the defect.
Magnetic Particle Inspection is very commonly used in several industries including, aerospace, automotive, petrochemical, oil & gas, structural and power generation. Typical applications include engines, components, suspension and brake systems, castings, forgings and welded materials.

Ultrasonic Inspection

Ultrasonic Inspection (UT) is a very common used method for a variety of industries, such as aerospace, manufacturing power generation and much more. 

Ultrasonic Testing is an excellent inspection method for internal flaw detection including inclusions, cracks, porosities.  It is also commonly used to measure the thickness of parts,  erosion and corrosion monitoring, or bond testing.

Eddy Current Inspection

Our advanced Eddy Current Inspection equipment, we can provide an efficient and versatile inspection. This includes minimum part preparation and the ability to inspect both non-ferrous and ferrous materials. Our Eddy Current equipment is portable, reliable and provides instant results, which is perfect for on-site mobile inspections.

Eddy Current Inspection involves using electromagnetic induction to detect defects and is very effective at finding surface and near-surface flaws. This method is also capable of measuring the metal or coating thickness, and sorting metals, conductivity, and hardness.

Eddy Current is primarily use in aerospace, rail systems, automotive, marine, oil &  gas, energy  and manufacturing industries.
